About GRADA

Coffee liqueur, Reimagined

GRADA is a range of specialty-grade coffee liqueurs, hot extracted at 93°C in Melbourne, the same temperature your barista pulls a great espresso. That's where its body, crema and depth come from. It's the single-ingredient espresso martini: one pour over ice, shaken for five seconds. No vodka bottle, no espresso machine, no coffee liqueur on the side.

Our range starts with 01 Single Origin, made from single-origin beans grown at Fazenda Pinhal in Minas Gerais, Brazil, and awarded an IWSC 2024 Gold Medal, scoring 96/100. Prefer to keep the ritual but skip the caffeine? 02 Midnight Decaf is organic coffee from Veracruz, Mexico, Swiss Water decaffeinated through Decaf Co and 99.9% caffeine free, with notes of cocoa, dark caramel and dried fig. For gifting, our Gift Boxes pair a bottle with a shaker and glassware; for venues and parties, the 5L Bag-in-Box pours around 50 espresso martinis at bar speed.

Coffee liqueur FAQs

Your questions

What is coffee liqueur?

Coffee liqueur is a sweetened spirit made with coffee. GRADA is a specialty-grade version, hot extracted from single-origin beans rather than made with cold brew or coffee flavouring, so it tastes like a proper espresso, not a syrup.

Can you make an espresso martini without vodka?

Yes. GRADA is a single-ingredient espresso martini. Pour it over ice and shake for about five seconds. There's no need for vodka, a separate coffee liqueur, or an espresso machine.

Why is GRADA hot extracted?

We extract at 93°C, the temperature a barista pulls a shot at. That is where the body, the crema and the sweetness come from.

How do I serve GRADA?

Two ways: neat over ice, or shaken over ice for an espresso martini. Both take seconds and need nothing but ice.

What's the difference between 01 Single Origin and 02 Midnight Decaf?

Same serve, different coffee. 01 Single Origin comes from Fazenda Pinhal in Minas Gerais, Brazil, tastes of chocolate brownie, burnt caramel and black cherry, and won IWSC 2024 Gold. 02 Midnight Decaf is organic coffee from Veracruz, Mexico, Swiss Water decaffeinated through Decaf Co, 99.9% caffeine free, and tastes of cocoa, dark caramel and dried fig.

I wasn’t expecting this to be so good. Coffee liqueur yes - but for some reason it’s on another level.

Had some with my friends over some board games and they loved it. I'm not a Coffee Liqueur kinda guy but i still enjoyed it.

Grada has a delicious coffee taste that's not overpowering, you can have it on the rocks or shake the bottle...
